Ahmedabad, February 8 (ANI): In a major setback to Gujarat Chief minister Narendra Modi, the state High Court today slammed his government for its failure to stop the state's communal riots of 2002. The Court said that there was inaction by the police during the riots. A division bench was hearing a petition that asks the government to pay for the damage that was incurred by different religious buildings. The court ordered the government to pay compensation to all vandalised places of worship. The court also formed a 26 member panel to oversee the process.
