Kanpur, February 03 (ANI): Seeking to 'connect' with the masses ahead of the crucial assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, a candidate campaigned riding on a horse cart, giving his counterparts and rivals a much needed lesson on austerity. An excited Naveen Pandit, contesting from the Govind Nagar constituency of Kanpur, claimed he was financially weak, due to which he chose to use horse carts as a means of cutting expenses.
