VIVEK OBEROI Mumbai, January 23 (ANI): Vivek Oberoi is a Bollywood actor and the son of yesteryear star Suresh Oberoi. He made his debut in Ram Gopal Varma's Company . The film was a critically acclaimed hit. He received Filmfare Awards for the Best Debut as well as the Best Supporting Actor categories. He then starred in action films like Road and Dum . The biggest hit of his career came in the form of Yash Raj Films Saathiya in 2002, in which he starred alongside Rani Mukerji. He also starred in the comic flick Masti in 2004 along with Aftab Shivdasani and Ritesh Deshmukh. The film was a surprise box office hit, though negatively reviewed. He also starred in the critically acclaimed film Yuva and Kaal , both of which did moderately well. In 2006, he appeared in Omkara and in 2007, he won critical acclaim for his role as the gangster Maya Dolas in the multi starrer Shootout at Lokhandwala . Vivek was also awarded the Best Villain Award at the IIFA Awards for Shootout at Lokhandwala. In 2008, Vivek Oberoi starred in a film called Mission Istanbul and in 2009; he made a guest appearance in Zoya Akthar s Luck By Chance .
