Orissa,September 08 (ANI): A team of 20 doctors visited the Diarrhoea affected Rayagada district of Orissa on Wednesday.Joint Director and Deputy Director of Health Department led the team of doctors.Kashipur,Kalyansinghpur and Bissamkatak blocks are the worst affected areas of the region,after the area saw a spur in diarrheal deaths last weeks followed by a spell of heavy rains for a couple of days.The epidemic has so far claimed 10 lives in a span of fortnight in the region,literally creating panic amongst the locals.Meanwhile,the authorities have confirmed essential steps to control the situation.
