Srinagar,September 08 (ANI):Curfew continued in Srinagar city for the second day on Wednesday while it was extended to two towns in Anantnag district following violent clashes between protestors and security forces in these areas.Roads remained deserted and shops were closed as security personnel patrolled the streets in the state's summer capital.Police and security forces in large numbers have been deployed to enforce curfew and to stop violent protests in Kashmir Valley.Meanwhile,Hardline Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani was today arrested from his Hyderpora residence on the outskirts of the city as a preventive measure.
