New Delhi, September 08 (ANI): As 1200 doctors in Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital refuse to end their strike on Wednesday, even as the patients bear the brunt, the government has threatened action against the striking doctors after talks with them were inconclusive, on Tuesday. Minister of State Health Dinesh Trivedi visited Safdarjung hospital late last night, but the doctors refused to budge and demanded better security. The doctors are on strike after a patient allegedly beat up a resident doctor. The doctors claimed one of their female colleagues was manhandled by some outsiders on Sunday when a patient succumbed to dengue. Meanwhile, the patients are suffering the most, due to the deadlock.
