Description
New Delhi, August 24 (ANI): India will offer export incentives to some labour intensive sectors, said Trade Minister Anand Sharma on Monday, while announcing the supplement Foreign Trade Policy in India's capital New Delhi. Sharma added that the additional incentives would cost the government over Rs 10 billion. He further said that due to the uncertain global markets, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has obtained the extension of Duty Entitlement Pass Book (DEPB) till June 30, 2011. Under this scheme, the government reimburses duties on imported inputs used in exports.
